Troy Beane, Veteran Executive Leadership CEO and retired U.S. Army Major, gathered business partners, friends, and veterans at Malvern, Pa’s Main Line Armory on December 8, 2023. The event aimed to express gratitude and foster a community of veteran entrepreneurs.
Founder of VXL, Beane’s mission surpasses typical business objectives. He champions “The Next Generation of Veteran Entrepreneurs” by hosting events that offer fun, camaraderie, and networking opportunities.
“I enjoy supporting veterans,” Beane said. “The Main Line Armory is owned by Greg and Katie Butler, a husband and wife team I served with in Iraq. I strive to give back to my community regularly, especially during the holidays.”
Tara and Billy Lawver, owners of Copper Bonnet Distillery, a startup sustainable gin, praised Beane’s genuine commitment to veteran support, citing it as a reason for their partnership. They’ve attended multiple events, finding them both informative and enjoyable.
Steve Figgatt, owner of Sycamore International, collaborated with Beane on various projects. Recently, Beane significantly aided Figgatt’s recruitment efforts by vetting numerous applicants for a sales position.
“This was my first event, and it was fantastic,” said Figgatt. “The commitment Troy demonstrates to his veteran network and professional engagements is evident in such remarkable venues.”
The Main Line Armory provided a festive atmosphere.
“I hope my friends and partners found time to relax, connect, and enjoy a sense of the camaraderie we once shared in uniform,” Beane remarked.
